Cameron DuPratte was born in North Dakota and has lived throughout the midwest since. 

    He attended Sterling College for a year, where he studied theater and illustration. He then transferred to the University of Kansas to study Industrial Design, and later, Visual Art. He graduated in 2016 with a BFA in Visual Art.

    In 2013, DuPratte was a founding member of Close Shave Productions, an independent theatre company in Kansas City. He continues to work during show season as Director of Advertising. In 2015, he wrote and directed the short film The Places You Keep, which was an official selection at the Tallgrass Film Festival. In 2016, he was awarded with two Undergraduate Research Award from the University of Kansas to create an installation piece that explored the living spaces of people. This project would be fully realized in FINDINGS, a collaborative work with photographer David Dunsmoor. 

    He currently resides in Lawrence, KS with his wife and daughter.
